Meet Rathi Subbaraj, a dynamic force at Dufrain, dedicated to bridging the gap between clients and technical teams. Rathi is passionate about building strong client partnerships and driving business growth through innovative solutions. We recently caught up with her to learn more about her role, her pride in delivering impactful solutions, and her love for teaching her daughters algebra in her spare time. 1. Tell us a little bit about what you do
In my role, I focus on bridging the gap between our clients and the internal technical teams to ensure smooth delivery of solutions. I work closely with clients to build strong partnerships, helping them define their goals and translating those into actionable technical strategies. Managing cross-functional teams is a key part of my job—bringing together business integration, technical development, and delivery teams to ensure everyone is aligned and focused on delivering value.
I’m also involved in business development within the company, identifying opportunities to expand our services, whether through new solutions or improved processes. My aim is always to deliver results that not only meet our clients’ immediate needs but also position them for long-term success. By understanding both the technical and business sides, I ensure we’re driving innovation and creating real value for both our clients and our company.
2. What do you enjoy most about your job
What I enjoy most about my job is the tangible impact I can make—both for our clients and within the company. Being able to deliver solutions that directly address client challenges and seeing the positive outcomes of that work is incredibly rewarding. I also take pride in the value I help create, whether it’s building strong client relationships, streamlining processes, or contributing to the growth of our business. Knowing that my efforts make a real difference is what motivates me every day.
3. What does a typical day look like for you?
My day usually involves a lot of meetings—whether it’s with clients to discuss their needs, internal teams to coordinate progress on technical development, or cross-functional groups to ensure alignment across different workstreams. In between meetings, I focus on problem-solving, reviewing progress, and making sure any roadblocks are addressed quickly.

I thrive in my work because I enjoy the value I bring to both clients and the company. Whether it’s through driving successful project outcomes, fostering strong partnerships, or solving complex challenges, I take pride in knowing that my efforts directly contribute to our clients’ success and business growth.
5. What would you say has been your most significant achievement or the one you are most proud of whilst working at Dufrain?
My most significant achievement has been successfully introducing and selling our accelerators to key clients, which transformed the way we deliver solutions
6. Who inspires you the most within Dufrain?
Everyone at Dufrain. And Joseph George for his business development acumen.
7. Which work benefit or perk is your favourite and why?
My favourite work perk is the birthday day off. It’s a great way to relax, recharge, and feel appreciated by the company.
8. What’s the best advice you can give to someone who wants to work for us?
The best advice I can give is to be ready to roll up your sleeves and dive in. It’s a dynamic, fast-paced environment where taking initiative and being hands-on will set you up for success.
9. What skill do you think everyone should learn?
Everyone should learn stakeholder management, SQL, and the ability to think big but act small.
10. What are some of your favourite things to do outside of work?
Outside of work, I love spending time with my girls and teaching them. Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time teaching them maths, especially algebra. If anyone needs tips on how to teach algebra, feel free to come to me!
