Dufrain celebrates UK Best Workplaces™ Recognition
The 2026 UK’s Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services ™ list was revealed on 3rd September by Great Place To Work® UK, recognising Dufrain among the list of organisations in the mid to small category.
Employees anonymously reported that the company’s flexibility and understanding around work-life balance are among the qualities that make it a great place to work.
Following its Great Place to Work® certification in 2025, the business continues to build on that foundation. It embeds flexibility into its working practices and recognises that people’s lives, responsibilities and priorities evolve.
Dufrain supports colleagues and clients in ways that work for everyone, while maintaining an open and approachable culture. People are encouraged to connect with their colleagues across the business, regardless of role or seniority.
The business has also expanded its support for colleagues. Initiatives include the Tusker electric vehicle scheme and birthday leave. Colleagues also receive support for significant life events, including weddings and bereavements.
Dufrain has also strengthened its focus on wellbeing and life-stage support. This includes menopause support through management training, policies and practical workplace training.
Survey feedback reinforced that colleagues feel safe, respected and supported at work, and are able to be themselves and innovate.
One colleague described Dufrain’s “flexibility and understanding about work/life balance” as “fantastic”, while another highlighted the “ability for anyone to reach out and speak to anyone within the business – If anything, it’s encouraged.”
The Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services™ list draws on anonymous feedback from employees working across the industry about their workplace experience. The organisations represented span a diverse range of knowledge-intensive sectors, including legal services, management consultancy, engineering, marketing and advertising, telecoms, real estate, recruitment and travel management.
Great Place To Work® UK administered its research-backed Trust Index© employee survey. It then analysed responses from UK-based consulting and professional services employees to determine the Best Workplaces™ list.
The survey asked employees how their company supports work-life balance, fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security.
Evaluations also assessed how consistently each organisation delivers its employee experience across departments and seniority levels.
