CEO Joseph George tells us about his key Dufrain highlight of 2022 and his ambitions for the business in 2023
“One of the biggest highlights of 2022 was securing the funding to fuel the next stage of our growth from Phoenix Equity Partners. What we have achieved over the last decade has been incredible. We have carved out space in the market, grown our brand and team, and most importantly, our significant growth opportunities meant that it was a fairly smooth process to get an investor on board.
Talent shortages have impacted all sectors and industries in all spheres of tech. Many UK companies are limited when it comes to scaling due to insufficient tech talent. However, our investment in our people and our brand has meant we were able to attract the right talent this year, including the additions to our board: Mark Fowle our Chairman and Alex Meakin, our first-ever CFO.
We have ambitious plans for 2023 with continued investment planned across all areas of the business. Our goal is to be the UK’s leading data and analytics consultancy in size and capability.
Over the next year, we will look at going further with our capabilities across data services. Our depth of experience in being involved in multiple cloud platform builds and data migrations has led us to have some veritable differentiators in our services, we plan to continue launching them widely across our key target sectors, including banking and insurance.
Following on from our work with international clients in recent years from our UK offices, international growth is also on the cards; watch this space.”
