the challenge
This Global Automotive Group launched a global transformation initiative to evolve the foundation of their business to increase efficiency as they grow.
They wanted to avoid this transformation becoming a monolithic technology programme. Then aim was to enable a set of discrete, but integrated business-led projects, modernising people, process, data and technology capabilities across a number of key areas without reinventing the wheel.

the solution
Dufrain deployed a range of expert resources, such as the Global Data Management Lead.
Initiatives included:
MDM: Owning the end-to-end design, development and delivery of Informatica MDM to unify the master data in Back End and Front-End systems such as Salesforce, Marketing Cloud and Pricing.
Self-Serve Analytics: A Dufrain Product Owner led the initiative to enable regional countries with self-service dashboards.
Strategic Systems: owning the data migration that will enable front office systems to see image and documentation of a vehicle or product.
the outcome
Our experts successfully directed a large, cross functional team comprising of data stewards, business analysts, data engineers, MDM specialists. Informatica professionals and managed services. The Master Data Management solution has been delivered, enabling countries including US, UK, France, Portugal, Spain and Australia.
Using Snowflake and Power BI, 88 global metrics delivered to enable UK teams to fully self-serve their analytics. By Q3, Belron’s Top 12 countries will be able to report 40 Conversion metrics, with a view to extend to Top 20 by end of Q4 utilising Snowflake and Tableau.
