After consolidating data into a new Snowflake data platform and investing in machine learning capability to better predict their business metrics, Carnival UK wanted to optimise the decision-making process and empower teams with reliable and fast access to key insights.
As availability of crucial predictive analytics data was lacking, the revenue management teams desired a tailored report suite with potential to enable self-serve reporting across capacity management, revenue insights and pricing analytics.

We delivered our “Insight in 10” offering – 2 new models, 4 new reports, launched with comprehensive training and governance support to ensure adoption.
Our development standards framework allowed Carnival’s internal Team to take charge of the semantic models for self-servicing reporting, and we provided a guide to hold best governance practices in place.
Data would be secure, but the right platform governance would be in place to allow easy access to users and prevent those bottlenecks. In just 10 weeks, our new insight function was launched to the team.
the outcome
The reports went beyond offering just a current state of data. Through iterations with the revenue teams, Dufrain adjusted the trajectory until they hit the mark. Our specialists unlocked functionalities the teams had never had before, revamping entirely some of their core processes.
